They are the world's greatest superheroes. They are the world's most fascinating celebrities. They are one seriously confusing family. Back in WWII, superheroes first began to emerge, and some of the greatest of them married each other. Nuclear Man (blasted by accidental radiation and given flight and radiation-controlling powers) married Alienne (a metamorphic lady alien from a distant planet), and Dr. Noble (a genius inventor of high-tech armor, weapons, and devices) married Alchemystic (a sorceress who could transform people and things from one substance into another). The Nobles gave birth to a telepathic son who called himself Brainpower and married the magnetic daughter of Nuclear Man and Alienne, Magnette. They became famous as a superheroic couple, and eventually started a family of their own. The twins Adam (with the fusion powers to duplicate himself, grow or shrink in height and then collapse the duplicates into himself to generate heat blasts) and Eve (with darkness-controlling powers to turn into a living shadow, animate shadows and absorb all forms of energy), Chase (with Superspeed and superhuman senses and tracking abilities), Crystal (with the power to transform into a diamond-like form and fire spikes or grow sharp body armor), Will (with telepathic, telekinetic and mind-controlling abilities), and Sky (with star-based powers of flight, probability control, astral projection, and plasma blasts). Then there was Cody, the electromagnetic cyber-construct of computer code and artificial intelligence who can control machines and became a member of the family, the pixie-like magical teenager Fay (Adam's girlfriend), and Will's thorny humanoid plant girlfriend, Rose, Chase's angel-empowered crush, Grace, the alternate-dimensional daughter of Brainpower and Magnette named Blaze (with pyrokinetic fire powers and flight) and their friend/ally Dravin, the red-scaled, horned, winged and sword-wielding son of the Noble's greatest enemy, the lord of the Underworld, Draco. You may play any of the listed characters (including the parents and grandparents) or make up your own relations to the family (uncles, aunts, cousins, best friends, etc), though if you want, I will make up further descriptions of each one. Keep in mind that these characters have literally been raised in the spotlight, and they've had to deal with paparazzi, supervillains invading all the time, alternate timelines, teenaged rebellion, and parents who seem more than a little distant and unrealistic.

Nuclear Man - Nathan Norris was a former research scientist caught in a blast of radiation by an experimental device back during the War. As a result, he gained flight and radiation-generating/controlling powers, and became a fighter in the war. At first he concealed his identity to hide from the government and retain his anonymity, but he has since come out of retirement to train his grandchildren under the protection of the Noble family and corporate machine. He still is rather clever and secretive, however, and advises his family to be so as well. Who knows what secrets he has yet to reveal, even to those he trusts most. He is balding now, but his hair still seems to burn when he uses his powers, and he has remained in decent physical condition for his age.

Alienne - Nameless and stranded on our world for a time, she was found by a group of yokels in Kansas who called her "alien," which she initially believed to be their name for her. Quickly learning the language (and adopting the new identity of "Aileen Norris" after she married her heroic husband), she went on to be a powerful heroine in her own right. She has since (with Dr. Noble's genius) been able to repair the spacecraft that brought her to Earth, and visited her home planet (Nonar, which orbits the Blue Star, Rigel) but always returned to Earth. She can become the shape of any living creature thanks to highly fluid and elastic skin, and she has a childlike innocence about her still. She also usually has purple skin and antennae and solid black eyes, along with twelve fingers and twelve toes on each hand and foot. Her hair is bright pink and usually shaped into an unusual hairstyle (she has gotten more eccentric as she's matured). She is also easily the most glamorous of the Nobles.

Dr. Rich Noble was a genius inventor of high-tech armor, weapons, and devices, who started off small with a few trick gadgets and gradually increased his mechanical repertoire and became a heavy-hitter with a variety of devices at his disposal. He became one of the greatest heroes of WWII, regularly confounding the Axis scientists and finding ways to destroy their death rays, monstrous robots, and experiments in superhuman genetics. When the fighting was done and he managed to clean up the streets of the U.S., he started patenting his inventions, and soon amassed an immense fortune. It was because of a joke of his name "Rich" and his new financial status that the family tradition of naming grandchildren after their future powers began. He is extremely protective of his family, but retains a desire to do right, and often loses his temper with the press and paparazzi who get in the way of confronting villains and saving the world. He is bearded and now white-haired, and surprisingly muscular still.

Alchemystic - Valassa Nahari Noble was a sorceress from an alternate dimension where fantastic creatures lived. She was the daughter of one of the greatest wizards on the Land, and soon found a way to open a portal into our world, where she helped Dr. Noble foil an villain's plots, and became his crime-fighting partner. She also took on the roles of dealing with all the publicity the family generated. Her spells mainly focus on transformation or transubstantiation of people and objects, but she is also adept at illusions, healing, and dimensional teleporting, among other things. She appears as a blonde, willowy lady with pointy ears and green eyes in flowing robes.

Brainpower - Brian Noble - Initially rebelled against his parents and avoided using their name, modifying his own (Brian) by switching the I and the A around to come up with a name that fit his telepathic and mind-controlling powers and sneaking out to fight crime in his own way. He has since grown out of this phase, and become a loving (if exasperated) husband and father. He has red hair, which his mother claims is usually a sign of psychic powers, and he is often the first to know if something has gone wrong (or if someone is hiding something from him).

Magnette - Elektra Norris Noble is the raven-haired wife of Brainpower and the daughter of Nuclear Man and Alienne. She was also the member of the family who had the most to adjust to, because she went from being largely unknown (thanks to her mother's shapeshifting and her father's secret identity) to being on the cover of magazines, newspapers and tabloids daily. She shies away from the attention, but recognizes its importance. She possesses the ability to sense and control the magnetic spectrum, making her one of the most powerful superhumans on the planet. She favors a metallic silver costume, and is a great help to her father in law in his lab.

Aaron "Iron" Noble (Superstrong and nearly invulnerable, until a cosmic blast nearly killed him and Doc Noble had to invent an android body for him, that has increased his powers but made him feel removed from the world and his humanity)
m
"Ruse" (mysterious and beautiful shapeshifter who married Aaron before his disfigurement and is trying to balance her feelings for her husband and her love of the family against his new condition and her dark (and secret) history as the supervillain, Visage, before she fell for Aaron and made her new heroic identity to get close to him)

"Acid" (Uncle Sid, brother of Magnette, the black sheep of the family, able to transform his body into a caustic chemical, who ended up joining a supervillain group)

Adam "Atom" Noble - Named after the first man, Adam can duplicate himself, grow or shrink in height and then collapse the duplicates into himself to generate heat blasts through the power of fusion. He is the classic eldest child, psychologically, and works with his twin and parents and grandparents to try and keep the younger siblings out of trouble... but sometimes he just wants to go out and do his own thing. He has a full head of fiery hair, which is usually neatly combed, and his green eyes glow golden when he uses his powers.

Eve Noble - Though named after the first woman, the "night before" meaning of her name is more appropriate, as Eve is able to control and shape darkness and shadows at will, as well as absorbing most energy attacks. Like her mother, her hair is black, and she has inherited her maternal grandmother's solid black eyes. She and Adam cancel each other out with their powers, and she plays "good cop" to Adam's "bad cop" when it comes to dealing with the younger siblings when they get in trouble.

Chase Noble - With Superhuman speed and senses, Chase is able to be anywhere in the blink of an eye. He is the life of the party, and the most playful of the youngest generation of the Noble Family. He has also dated half of the superheroines, supervillainesses, alien princesses, alternate dimensional freedom fighters, and the like out there, because he was always searching for someone who could make life slow down for him. With blond surfer hair, a charming smile, and runner's sneakers specially designed to be light and supportive, but resist friction and erosion from running at high speeds by Dr. Noble and Nuclear Man, Chase tends to take girl's breath away... for about a moment as he goes speeding off.

Crystal Noble - Crystal possesses the power to transform into a diamond-like form and fire spikes or grow sharp body weapons. In this form, she is beautiful, but she worries that being invulnerable and armored and strong will become something of an irresistable rush... especially after the heartbreak she received when she broke up with a popular brown-haired disney musical star.

Will Noble is a telepathic/telekinetic guy with emo/goth sensibilities (he's modelled and sponsored Hot Topic officially within the last year), and a certain pride in his vast and varied powers. Modern experts believe he might day become the most powerful psychic on the planet, able to bend people and the laws of physics to his will.

Sky Noble - Sky's powers, like most of his sibling's, are a hybridization of those of his parents and grandparents. In his case, though, no one is quite sure what general source Sky's powers, as they could easily come from magic, alien nature, energy, or technological exposure. For awhile they were uncontrollable, and his dark, curly hair and eyes still swirl with nebulae and sparkle with stars. He has a pair of glowing metallic rings with a two-foot circumference built by his paternal grandfather from his maternal grandmother's spacecraft and forged by his maternal grandfather's energies to his paternal grandmother's mystical specifications. They float around his hands and focus his plasma blasts in controllable amounts, and shrink into metallic tattoos on the back of his hands when he isn't using them. He loves his powers, and the freedom of flight, but is worried of what people will think when he reveals his attraction to guys... and kinda hoping that he'll get sucked into a portal to another dimension before he has to come out to his family... or the press.

C.O.D.Y. - Also known as the Computer-Operating Dimensional Youth, this android is the greatest invention of Dr. Noble. The first prototype was built in the eighties, but each subsequent "body" the android has inhabited has come with upgrades and new features, along with a style distinct to each year of construction. Cody possesses a complete artificial intelligence, and is every bit capable of possessing emotions and higher knowledge as every other member of the family, and "he" is just a brilliant as his creator... perhaps more so. His current appearance is smooth and sleek, with articulated jointed and glowing lights, retractable panels to access weapons, jets, buttons, and force-field generators, but he also possesses a hologram device that disguises him as a normal human teenager, and he has designed his own "human" appearance after scanning the facial features of various members of the Noble Family to make a hybrid appearance with qualities of all of them, in order to better fit in. He is, however, extremely sensitive about his place in the family, and is envious of Dr. Noble's flesh-and-blood descendants, as he considers himself the Doctor's firstborn child. This drives him to greater and greater lengths to try and prove himself and make the family proud of him, but he sometimes feels like they're creeped out by his appearance and attitude. He is able to electromagnetically manipulate machines (and nothing else... his powers pale in comparison with Magnette's, but he has greater facility and control over the functions of machines than she does). He can also convert his energies and intelligence into computer code, and access other dimensions by opening a portal with his body.

Fay Morgan- Originally a pudgy, plain girl with huge glasses and a fondness for fairy tales, Fay was not popular in the least, and was frequently picked on by her classmates and abused by her redneck relatives. One night, she decided that she couldn't take it anymore, and ran away from home, only to get lost in the deep West Virginia forests, where she eventually lay down to sleep on a pile of leaves... leaves which covered a ring of fairy mushrooms. When she awoke, she found herself impossibly thin, with violet eyes, pointy ears, marble-like skin, a pair of retractable diamond-hard (and sharp) dragonfly wings sprouting from her back, and retractable sleep-poison "stings" that pop out from beneath her wrists. She can also stick to walls, and seems to have a talent for magic (especially invisibility, illusion, and blasts of sparkling pink light). She started making a name for herself, especially while fighting magic-based supervillains, and in a confrontation with a dark sorcerer, she met Adam Noble... and it was love at first sight. At least, it was for her. It wasn't Adam that she met then, but one of his duplicates, and while he retains all of their memories, and he really likes Fay, he isn't sure he feels the same way that she does. She has not told the Nobles about her other family, and she lives with the Nobles in her own suite of rooms (and it is extremely difficult to bypass magical and technological and alien security measures as well as evade a telepathic future-father-in-law).

Rose - When the Nobles fought the villainous Snapdragon, they found a lab with a strange bulb partially buried in the soil. It was the size of a human, glowing with green light, and something seemed to be moving inside it. Will Noble was the one who found it, and his telepathy sensed a presence deep within the plant, and began communicating with it. He insisted that they take the bulb with them, and buried it on the Noble Estate property, and a few nights later, he woke up suddenly, threw on some clothes, and hurried out to the lawn, where a beautiful, green-skinned, rose-red eyed and haired girl was rising out of the ground. The bulb had reacted to Will's feelings, as plants do to kind, welcoming owners, and had reshaped itself as a beautiful flower girl.Able to communicate with and control plants, she also could sense and control emotions through scents, and reshape her body, growing sharp thorny armor or leafy protrusions to glide through the air, or entangling vines. She is very dependent and clingy to Will, but she truly understands what it is to be in everyone else's head, and she knows exactly what to do to console him, even in the depths of his goth-emo-ness.

Grace - A beautiful and mysterious young woman who was raised by an order of nuns in an ancient convent in France, where legend has it that Joan of Arc's body was stolen away and her armor and weapons preserved. Grace was raised to be devout, disciplined, and spiritually powerful. When she turned sixteen, angels appeared to her, and touched her shoulders, her hands, her lips, her eyes, her ears and her heart. Afterwards, she found herself able to see through illusions, sense auras of the true form of shapeshifters and disguised people, see and speak with spirits, grow feathery wings of light, summon angels, and heal wounds and illnesses in others. Her strength and speed and senses were also increased, as was her ability to resist and shrug off damage. She also possesses a sort of precognitive intuition, which she claims comes from the voices of angels whispering in her blessed ears. She wears the armor of Joan of Arc, and fights evil and corruption and the forces of the devil and tyranny in the world, and sees it as her driving mission. She has no patience for self-serving fools, and is irritated and disgusted at some of the excesses of the world Chase inhabits, despite the fact that he has come to her aid at literally a moment's notice and he constantly attempts to woo her. She is not impressed, but she has to admit that he is good-looking, and there are times when he shows such compassion and gentleness to those beneath him that it seems to almost outweigh his other faults, but her first priority is towards her Mission, and her true family are the Sisterhood. She has not yet taken vows, because of her unusual situation, and she does dream about a love and family, but she fears that if she gave into such temptation, she would lose her divine powers and blessings.

Blaze - A flying pyrokinetic whose hair is constantly ablaze (though it doesn't burn anything that touches it), this young woman is from an alternate dimension, where the Nobles were hated and reviled, and worked as underground freedom fighters instead of celebrities. With her parents, Brainpower and Magnette, she was fighting against both an angry mob and a celebrated supervillain when a random explosion of his device catapulted her into this reality, and she is not sure how she feels about the public attitude towards the Nobles. She can control heat and flame of all sorts, and she can shape it into fiery servants. She has a bit of a rough demeanor, but that comes from constantly keeping her guard up. This reality's Nobles have unofficially adopter her, and she works to keep this world from becoming like her own. She is unaware of Cody's status as an android (he didn't asked the other Nobles not to reveal his identity, and she thinks that he is a cyborg) and thinks he is kind of cute, though she hasn't worked out how he is related to the Nobles.

Dravin - A red-scaled, horned, winged and sword-wielding son of the Noble's greatest enemy, the lord of the Underworld, Draco, Dravin grew up hating the Nobles. Even as a boy he fought at his father's side against the young children when they stowed away with their parents and grandparents on adventures. His father was mystically bound in the Underworld, but Dravin could travel to the surface and carry on the fight there. When he led a daring attack on the Noble Manor and even got as far as Dr. Noble's secret laboratory, he fought Sky there, and the two of them accidentally ended up activating a portal to a strange, exotic, and uninhabited reality with purple sky and blue plants. The two of them fought constantly for the first few days, but afterwards called a truce and even began working together. As they compared stories of their respective childhoods and families, they forged a bond of friendship that lasts to this day, and Dravin now serves as a mediator and ambassador of the Underworld (though his father feels shamed and betrayed, he also, in his own way, cares for his son, and hopes to protect him from the threats of the surface). Dravin has a crush (which he has kept silent about) on Crystal. He also possesses the power to breathe disintegration rays from his mouth, turning everything that gets in his way into dust and ash, which was seen as a special mutation and prized gift by his people.
