Welcome to Mary Wollenstonecraft Godwin Shelley University, home to the greatest (and scariest, and most unhinged) scientific minds in the world! Here the best, brightest, and most explosive all come to study, research, invent, explore and redefine the laws of reality. Each member of the university is a Spark, gifted with a sort of natural talent that enables them to gain a spark of inspiration for inventing or designing theories. This is usually accompanied by a great deal of rapid experimentation and loud bangs, bright flashes, and all sorts of structural damage, because in some ways the Spark (the talent) allows Sparks to defy the laws of nature in their creations. They just can't help but get carried away and exult in the fantastic possibilities and results of their mad science, leading to cackling, explaining their plans in detail to people, and shouting dramatic orders to the minions. However, there are many kinds of science, and each student and instructor has an inclination towards a particular branch. Here the Sparks come to study their school of Science (and because everyone else around them wants the Sparks far away from them). Staffed by a whole town full of traditionally and almost genetically eager minions, along with reanimated, robotic, and biologically created monstrosities, they are able to work on their theories and inventions to their hearts' content.
Or at least, that is the way it should be. It seems that there is an entity known as the Plagiarist, who is able to assume a number of identities and seems to be able to get into and out of impossibly-defended places, only to steal their work for his or her (or its) own. The Plagiarist has been making its way around the school, and the outrage is boiling, and no one wants a whole school full of furious mad scientists OR a mysterious being's diabolical plots to come to fruition. As such, groups of students from different schools in M. W. G. S. U. are forming groups to utilize their diverse talents in order to stop the thief.
In order to play, you must invent TWO (2) Sparks: a student, and a professor. Your characters should be in two different schools of study (for instance, meteorology and robotics) so that A ) we can get a variety of different Sparks in the story, and B ) we can have classes with different players as students and teachers. You must post bios for your characters, including...
