Friendship

Moving closer to impending doom
Guilt and greed moves us on,
We fled but face the evening dawn
Quivering and racing towards our death
Asking for forgiveness, we try our best
Such grief and sadness we hold in our hearts
We shall always be apart in mind
Hate and curses that controlled us
Shall make our souls, forever bound
Last two we jest until one falls
But end up that we both don’t stand at all
Two hearts competing, two friends now rivals
A fate not as cruel as the one that had past
A love that would never last.
